Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with internal and external recruiting by:
- Posting open positions
- Creating offer/promotion/job change letters and their corresponding agreements
- Ensuring all new hire documents are completed in a timely manner
- Accurately entering all HR related data into HRIS
- Ensure accurate payroll processing by entering leave of absence information and auditing employee timesheets for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with employee relations issues such as investigations, discipline, and coaching/counseling.
- Process employee terminations.
- Provide basic ADP and Kronos support for employees.
- Administer Attendance Policy by tracking occurrences and generating reports.
- Respond to wage verifications.
- Create and maintain employee personnel files.
- Distribute paychecks
- Assist with planning and executing events and meetings.
- Administer the Employee Tool Order System.
- Update and maintain bulletin boards and television monitors.
- Assist with new employee onboarding as needed.
- Perform administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
- Stock and organize/maintain the Employee Store; handle sales transactions.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or related field. Bachelor's degree in business related field preferred.
- Strong customer focus with ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated, self-directed, and organized.
- Excellent time management and follow-up skills.
- High level of attention to detail, professionalism, and independence.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgement and diplomacy.
