DC Trainer - 1st Shift in Olive Branch, Mississippi

Title: DC Trainer Job Code: 240207 Department: NTHD, Kitting, THD, Accessories, Tools The DC Trainer is responsible for training all new distribution center employees in processes of picking, packing, and shipping. DC Training is responsible for industrial equipment training, re-training and code roll training. DC Trainer works with Continuous Improvement team on new process or process change. Duties and Responsibilities * Read and comprehend order information and work instructions * Provides direct hands on training and instruction in designated department to all new employees * Maintains training log * Conducts new hire safety orientation * Practice 5S and Safety * Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned * Assist with preparations of Training Material * Assist with Classroom On-boarding and Training * Train employees on Industrial Equipment both Classroom and Hands-on * Maintain attendee and training documentation * Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned Physical Demands * Must be able to lift 40 pounds * Frequent bending, stooping, walking and standing Education and Experience Requirements: * High School or GED diploma required * Excellent organizational skills and time management skills required * Must possess basic math and basic computer skills in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint * High attention to detail * Ability to perform work per instructions and within reasonable time. * Knowledge of all distribution center functions: pick, pack, receive and ship product * Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills * High Jump Experience * Training Experience or Leadership experience preferred
