Job Description

Under the management of the Manager Training -- Systems & Technology this position's primary duty is to bring expertise in project/program management, systems administration, and delivery for digital training content.


Duties and Responsibilities

Content Creation:

  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of content development, instruction, assessment, and technology integration
  • Develop content by gathering required resources to create eLearning training solutions
  • Ensure that technology use supports and enhances the organizations content and professional learning goal
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders

Project Partnership & Collaboration:

  • Maintain project timelines identified by stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet project delivery dates
  • Ensure regular communications with customers/stakeholders by effectively communicating expectations, driving improvements, and updating solutions based upon feedback


  • Manage all activities within training systems for Team TTI
  • Serve as primary systems management resource for internal LMS
  • Maintain content policies, naming conventions and standards for course and configuration management
  • Develop and maintain process control for system processes
  • Manage overall support responsibilities which include case management and resolution following escalation protocol
  • Create, revise, and maintain training course materials (guides, handouts, visual aids, etc.) aligned to the organizations use of the systems
  • Design and program reporting related to LMS training activities for distribution to stakeholders
  • Generate and interpret system reports and translate reporting data into meaningful analytical messaging


  • Leverage LMS analytical skills and expertise for creating new processes, problem solving, innovation and implementation of strategic projects and tasks
  • Develop and maintain process control for system processes
  • Maintain content policies, naming conventions and standards for course and configuration management
  • Provide technological and instructional support to the team to improve training and learning
  • Promote the overall culture that technology is integral to training while ensuring that technology use supports and enhances the organization's content and professional learning goal
  • Manage and organize resource library for managers to access on SharePoint

Manage eLearning Launch Calendar:

  • Communicate with Milwaukee Channel and Ryobi/Ridgid/Hart leads on course needs and launch schedules
  • Manage calendar to maintain a 20 min/week max of new content to the sales field
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders to help navigate which courses to prioritize based on Team TTI business needs


Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, technology, organizational communication, or related field
  • Two or more years of proven experience with PC, tablet and application-based learning technology platforms and software
  • Experience administering a Learning Management System and related technologies
  • Fluency with LMS, CMS & reporting tools
  • Experience designing, developing, delivering, and evaluating training development solutions
  • Excellent computer skills and project management with the ability to adapt quickly to new programs and technologies
  • Ability to follow brand standards and provide a consistent user experience across multiple projects
  • Highly organized with creative logic and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with MS Office and other office software
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

System/Software Experience:

  • Learning Management Systems
  • Content Authoring tools - Articulate Storyline and Rise
  • SharePoint


Familiarity with:

  • 360 video/XR emerging technologies

This position is comprised of onsite Milwaukee Tool locations, jobsite and remote work activities. Some extended travel may be required.
