We are an industry-leading manufacturer of heavy-duty power tools, accessories and hand tools for professional users worldwide, and are looking to add a Software Developer to our team.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work as a member of an agile software development team
  • Design and develop applications using modern technologies such as .NET Core/React/React Native
  • Enhance and support existing applications
  • Troubleshoot problems identified by users
  • Collaborate with lead developers and analysts to understand requirements and develop solutions
  • Advocate for adherence to standards on the development team

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field.
  • 3+ years of work experience in software development or an IT related position
  • 3+ years of professional .NET development experience
  • Strong object-oriented and relational database development skills
  • Strong professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience converting business requirements into functional applications
  • Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with agile methodologies
 

Preferred

  • .NET Core
  • SQL
  • React or similar JavaScript framework
  • HTML/CSS
  • Git/other source control
