Your Role on Our Team

The Sr. Talent Advisor is a generalist opportunity that is junior to a Talent Manager (aka Talent Business Partner). This opportunity will create a platform for continued career growth in the world of Talent Management (HR) with opportunity to evolve into as a Talent Business Partner. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Human Resources and the ability to be developed in role to support a dedicated business group.

The Sr. Talent Advisor will be excited by the variety of work and will thrive in the tremendously fast paced environment. In this position, you will be a key influencer and a trusted advisor for a dedicated team and build credible and collaborative relationships across the organization.

You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

· Identify and monitor the organization's culture so that it supports the attainment of the company's goals and promotes a positive employee experience.

· Assist employees and supervisors through challenging situations.

· Resolve escalated employee issues.

· Support assigned teams through biannual performance management processes creating a culture of coaching and improvement.

· Partner with location leadership and recommend policy/practice improvements.

· Engage with Talent Development in supporting an organizational transition.

· Manage salaried promotion process -- assessments, feedback, compensation recommendations.

· Partner with Talent Operations to create job families, career paths, and salary grades for facility.

· Facilitate the Talent Review Process for the location.

· Coach leaders on the appropriate actions required to respond to employee performance concerns.

· Lead the internal talent mobility process to align the workforce to strategic business needs.

· Partner with Talent Acquisition - business leaders to identify staffing needs within each business unit.

· Support location leadership in the execution of the listening strategy (i.e., engagement survey, skip level meetings, exit interviews, stay interviews, action planning, and leader accountability).

· Primary Talent Management support for OB campus in the absence of peer talent managers.

· Partner with leadership to develop employee retention strategies.

· Manage all Employee Relations functions and responsibilities for assigned business; partner with Sr. Talent Business Parter – ER on all investigations and actions involving Employee Relations.

· As needed maybe required to support other areas of the business beyond assigned shift this includes nights and weekends (does not happen often but it could happen).

· Work hours or work week subject to change based on the needs of the business with a reasonable notice.

· Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

The TOOLS you'll bring with you:

· A bachelor's degree in Talent Management, or related field; OR equivalent experience.

· 5 or more years of experience in Talent Management (HR), previous experience in a manufacturing facility is preferred.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have:

· Up-to- date knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulations.

· Customer focus with ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people.

· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Experience with investigations, leadership coaching in the moment and development.

· Self-motivated, self-directed, and organized.

· Excellent time management and follow-up skills,

· High level of attention to detail and accuracy required,

· Ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise good judgement and diplomacy,

· Some travel may be required.

· Schedule flexibility: we reserve the right to amend scheduling based on the needs of the business with reasonable notice
